is a v5 sti gearbox the same as a p1 gearbox? im almost sure that they are but can anybody confirm this for me?
also what is the best option for me? to recondition my gearbox or to buy a second hand one? whats the differance in price?
thanks for any help

The P1 box is indentical to the sti5/6 box, it is not longered gear nor does it have a longer 5th. It should have the gearbox code of TY754VBAAA
