Just a quick question about MAFS
I have noticed a few posts where people are talking about the colour of their MAF sensors
Whats this all about.
My one is black..
What do the colours mean?
Is there a "good" one to have?

Yours being a 98 I don't believe its as much of an issue as it is for MY99/00 cars.
99/00 cars have this fragile maf which can **** the engine up. I think the one with the green blob of paint is the more robust one - least that was what colour the one I bought for mine was.

its the label on the side of the electrical housing that people refer to as the colour mate as far as i know there are grenn,purple and orange label mafs hope that helps you
