better in any situation as long as its mapped to the car and your not running a td04 turbo (too small and is the only time you'll get lag with them even if its mapped correctly)

Don't know why I asked that, as all UK's have TD04L's - just that yours is front entry.
The limitng factor is your turbo mate - it runs out of puff at about the 280bhp mark (easily handled by your OEM v.5/6 WRX spec TMIC).
You have 440cc injectors fitted already which is nice. If you change your turbo for an easily swapped IHI VF34 or VF35 - THEN get the FMIC fitted - you'll then be able o get it mapped for about 330-350bhp from either of those turbos/injector combo.
So, I personally would only fit the FMIC when you get a bigger turbo - then remap the lot.

Cheers joz8968, I am gonna be going for an uprated turbo and a few other goodies aswell, after much deliberation and reading threads I think I'm going to go with the VF35 for price and the spool up characteristics.
Now I need to source a good FMIC, I've seen quie a few on Ebay that start around 200 notes, do you rate these or would I have to go with a branded product, I want the most bang for my bucks as they say lol!!

The most best value for money one is the Hybrid GT Spec. I think they are for sale on eBay from the far east and would be a little cheaper (assuming they're pukka!).
But I'd pay a little more and make sure you get a definite pukka item by buying from harvey. Contact him for all you'll need to know about what's required in fitting, air filter, dv, etc... Oh and prices.
