Hi everybody hope someone can help me here,wanting to change my slanty type TMIC for a sti 3 TMIC,but couldnt get it to fit between TB and bulkhead is it possible for me to replace my existing TB with a TB from a my98 as these are slimmer and the sti TMIC would slide straight in place,thanks

 

It does fit, got one (V4) on my 95WRX.

You trim 5mm off TB and cooler, make your own brackets to mount it and mod or make your own undertray for the sccop.

All can be done in an afternoon if your handy.

Its the manifold thats a different shape on the later cars.

 

172sport, is that 5mm trimmed from the existing MY93-96 TB... or from a sourced slimmer MY97/98 TB?

Can you explain in a little more detail how to do this trimming on the TB + IC and where, etc.?
