Hey there,

This happened to me, it was the maf sensor. Seemed ok in low gears, on the motorway it wasnt right as you describe. After a couple of days it seemed to get worse and affect all gears.

It may not be the cause of your particular issue but maybe worth checking out.

Edit - just checked your scoob, not sure if maf's are an issue on newage though. Either way, hope you get it sorted ok.

Awhile ago my classic uk turbo while under boost in high gears kept cutting boost (hold back then go again like a judder).

Found out that it was overboosting because of a pipe that had come off which goes to the actuator via a t piece.

I had the same, on my classic mind. It had just been mapped, running 1.35bar. The standard plugs/gaps were no good, the spark can be blown out when running higher boost!
I fitted pfr7b's, re gaped(i forget the gap, think it was 0.6mm), cured the problem instantly!

i had a newage the one in my profile and it done this and it was fuel cut as was over boosting after the map cause id had the sti top mount off and nicked a boost hose so in higher gears with increased load the pipe would open up and boost control would be lost.

id check all you bosst hoses on the turbo mate as mine was exact same
