Default Forge FMDVV4011 Fitted But still having problems.....

I`ve had the Scoob for almost a month now and the Baileys full atmospheric valve just has to go. Apart from the silly noise it makes, the car doesn`t boost much and hesitates quite a bit which I hope is due to the fully atmo valve.

Just removed the old setup, and some of the clips were not very tight

Before I fit the new Forge FMDVV4011 Recirc valve, can someone please confirm that I need to fit the valve in this position;

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm 99% certain the port that's in-line with the vac-feed 'head' goes to the IC pipe (as in your 1st and 2nd pics)... and the 90deg side port is the recirc, which goes to the turbo intake hose...

Default Problems still there...

Fitted the new recirc valve but still have the same problems as before. Hesitation and lack of boost. Having read through some of the recent threads on here I`m a bit worried now as the car has a straight thru exhaust system but has never been mapped.

Might have to book it in for a power run to see what`s going on.

Could try a proper OEM one - to rule out anything wrong with both the after market ones :-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-uk-97-98-Dump-Valve_W0QQitemZ370160214353QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item37016021435 3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A15|39 %3A1|240%3A1318

If still no good, flog it back on eBay, stick the metal recirc back on, THEN go for a RR session, etc...

That`s cheap, might just buy that one and keep it as a spare for the future.

Thanks for your help.
