My car has been stood for a week or two and when I started it yesterday morning it did start first time as usual but I got a strange beep. Is it the battery?

Tried again this morning and same thing happened.

Will a good run out sort the problem or do I need to look at something to maintain the battery. The car has become a bit of a weekend toy and is hardly getting used with the bad weather.

 

yep its the battery mine did this a few months ago i now drive with the sidelights on even in the sun as i believe it charges it .
no problems in ages

 

Cheers mate. I'll take it out today and run it with the lights on then to see if it helps.
