hello, i was looking at a fujitsubo exhaust system, its a legalis super r, downpipe bk, was just wondering what people views are and what sort of noise levels to expect compared to blitz nur spec? also will a nur spec r from a 93 wrx fit my 97 uk turbo? thanks, chris

If you go onto youtube there are a few soundclips of nearly all the exhausts so it may be worth having a quick look on there.
I've not heard too many exhausts louder than the Blitz

 

yeah, ive looked, they vary, some are loud but wen i looked on the net some ppl say there quiet! will it be quiet if it has two resonators?

 

Quite quiet yes.
Most exhausts will be slightly noisier on tickover and low revs giving the distinctive burble when you give the car some then beans then the exhausts are loud.

 

I've got the Legalise R on mine. Had it noise tested at 5000rpm and came out at 91db. Not too loud for the neighbours but nice when you give it the beans

 

wat about 5zigen and apexi exhausts? as i want it fairly loud, lol love the sound, sorta want it blitz nur spec sound but without the price tag, lol

 

How about a custom one? Can have it sound and look like you want then

 

Not loud at all but pure class exhaust. I had one on my 350z, it was titanium & cost double what the equivilant Nismo one was. (same parent company & manufacturer as Nismo but higher end)

i have this exhaust fitted, its a 3" all in one job from D/P back, it tapers down to 2 1/2 inside the back box, so if you want a 3" exhaust its a waste of time, i ended up getting my back box cut off and a 3" power flow back box welded in its place

 

I had a Legalis R on my WRX when I got it. Great system, very quiet (downpipe cat in place), but it rusted because it was mild steel.
I've replaced it with another Fujitsubo system that I found on eBay (not sure of the exact model, maybe a Super R?) that's stainless and it's perfect. Not too quiet, not too noisy & decent power. PM me if you want soundclips.

 

hi, i was looking at a blitz nur spec system on ebay, and its off a 93 wrx, but he doesnt no if its a nur R? its an odd one as the tail pipe is a rolled in one rather than the thin slash cut u normally get? this is the link -

as far as i know ALL classic saloon exhausts will fit any classic jdm or UK.
The NurSpec R is a full system the S is just a backbox

Check out their fireball, i think it is. You'll get all the wrong attention though.

 

haha, yeah jap performance are selling one, miracle fireball, but dont like how they sit, only seen one on youtube and didnt look too good!
