Question Using more fuel than normal?

Hey guys. I always reset the mileage trip counter when I fill up with petrol, and it's pretty much always at 150ish miles by the time I've done half a tank. Recently tho, when I get down to half a tank and look at the trip mileage, it's only on about 115ish? My last few tanks have all been like this, and I can't really think what might be wrong? Well, I can think of loadsa things, but don't know which one it is! I needed a new oxygen sensor at my last MOT (3 months ago) so I would hope it isn't that again. That used to bring my CEL on anyway, and I have never had a CEL since the new oxygen sensor has been fitted.

Could that much of a mileage difference just be down to all this cold weather and the fact I've always got the heaters on and start the car and let it run for a few mins each morning to clear the windscreen etc? I mean I'm getting 35 miles less than I normally do from half a tank......so I spoze you could work out that's about 70 miles less from a full tank? That's a bit much to be just because I have the car running for a few mins each morning isn't it!? Hmmmmm
