Default sub £100 bov's?

hi all, i'm about to pick up my 05 wrx with ppp fitted,

can anyone recommend a decent bov for it for less then 100 sheets, and where is the best place to get one. or should i just save for a hks one.

i don't want one too loud just something sweet,

collins bov around that better than baileys (hate the taste)


one on ebay used to save you a few quid not mine just searched for ya

subaru impreza collins dump valve bov blobeye bugeye on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 08-Feb-09 12:09:03 GMT)

i got a dumpvalve for sale - not sure if its what your after? its really cool & in great condition etc..

Turbo Smart dumplave with adjustable Sound settings = £100 delivered (new cost £170 + VAT)

Total waste of money. The oe one is just fine and does a much better job.

I agree, but the only one i had on my car and would put on my car is the hks ssq dump valve

I had no probs with it on

It has a smaller spring for low revs and large spring for high revs. means its not open to long when not thrashing it (helps running of the engine better than a normal non oe dump valve

Someone is selling a HKS SSQ for £100 posted on SIDC, its for a newage too...

I thought about it...

But still a waste of money

save your £100 and spend it on something useful or something that will improve performance. OE part works perfectly.

eg £100 could pay for:

- good geometry set up
- most of a track day fee
- a detail of your car
- a day at the zoo with the family
- a meal out with your missus (more if you want to come out with us too )
