Default fitting a td05 to a 98 classic

hi all

I was just wondering if Id need new gaskets etc for fitting my td05 16g to my classic with its TD04.
If so where would you recommend to get them?

The two gaskets on the up pipe and the downpipe where the turbo attaches are stainless laminate. Just give them a clean up with a wire brush and a small smear of exhaust paste and they'll be fine. Unless you wreck them getting them off or they are burnt through.

If they look alright, they will be alright.

thanks mate

Anything else worth replacing? pipe work around it? oil feeds. Im getting it fitted next week and want everything to be available in case of spits in hoses or such like - want to cover all eventualites (spelling)

I take it you/your garage knows that the TD05H 16G is a 'top entry' turbo, so will need the 'snorkel' cut off and a collar of suitable length welded back on, for the 1998 motor's under-the-IM intake hose to attach to, yes?
