DCCD probs? V3 Sti Ra

DCCD probs? V3 Sti Ra
Folks,
since buying the sti ra in December ive always had the DCCD in the 'second from bottom' green position.
Coming home from work today (in the snow) the car felt different, when I turned into a tightish corner the rear diff was clunking.
I know this is normal when the DCCD is in one of the 'orange' positions but its never clunked when ive had it on the second from bottom green
When I turned into my road I had to come to a complete stop because of the traffic then turn right, as I did the rear diff was clunking like mad....like I say ive turned into the road loads of times since owning the car and its never clunked in the second green setting
Any ideas???

Just took the car out for a drive.
No probs whatsoever, put the dccd in orange and tried to park it...got the usual clunking
Put it back to the first and second green settings and no probs either
happy days
