Default subaru s/s exhaust manifolds ?

hi to all ' i have been searching around and seem to find a few s/s headers on the net does a lot of people run with the s/s headers ? any suggestions welcome just need to find out little about them' just got a worrie that how brittle stainless steel under hot temps/ movement do they seem to crack easy ? has anyone experienced this with them ? kind regards

Cheap ones don't usually last too long. Buy some decent ones (ie GT Spec or Gruppes).

Only worth fitting if your car is at a level where headers will be of benefit (middle 300s and above), then they are worthwhile (with supporting mods).

thanks for the advice ' my wrx is not near the 300mark just running a full exhaust ' filter and was told the ecu was chipped/remapped to deal with fueling / boost ' unknown thou ' what sorta applications will take it to a sensible 280ish mark ? regards

Make, model,year ?

A New-Age WRX will easily manage 270-280 bhp with a few tweaks, no so with earier ones.

its a classic 94 wagon ' what would be needed to run 280ish safely ?
