cylinder layout of engine
hi all, i've had a little trouble with my scoob. the engine light has come on under hard acceleration
took it into a friendly (skoda) garage who used there kit to obd it and it came up with cylinder 2 and 4 misfire detected. its pointing towards coils failing as plugs are fairly new but need to know which side 2+4 are on so i can test them? drivers side or passenger side?
hope its the passenger side as its much easier to get them out and i won't scratch my nails! lol!
thanks fellow scooberers!
p.s. (edit) its a 2001 bugeye wrx with 1 coil per cylinder

MY01 and 02 bugeye ECU's were a bit flakey on deciding on misfire CEL's
Problems with the neutral position switch often gave misfire CEL's so I'd think about that first. Also under hard accelleration the Bugeye ECU threw camshaft position sensor errors !!
If the car is running fine I'd ignore it or if it bothers you change the NPS switch which I think is about £25
