never used it on the scooby mate, but before i got the scoob i was well into my vauxhalls, the early engines as in the astra gsi(c20xe) always had a tap from cold till they warmed up slick50 worked a treat, never heard the cold tap on the car again? was the same with the nova and the corsa gsi?

good stuff IMO
