Anyone know what a WRX import should be running boost wise??

 

Depends on the year. I presume you mean a grey import old shape non-STi.

Yeah import 93 WRX

 

Someone told me that mine was 0.8 bar (93 WRX) but as I've not got a boost gauge yet I can't say for definate. Let me know if you get a confirmed answer

 

I've recently put a boost gauge on, it runs at about 12PSi which i think is round 0.8 - 0.9 bar.

Have u got any mods done to it ie Exhaust filter etc??

 

At the moment its got a K+N induction kit, Magnex downpipe, Magnex Centre pipe (non-resonator) and Scoobysport backbox.

Don't know how accurate my gauge is so the boost could be a bit higher i suspose due to the mods. I'm gonna have a go at cleanin' the boost soleniod on Sunday cos in the two years i've had it its never been done. This could also raise the boost slightly if its full of crap.

mine ( my 93 wrx ) runs at .85 kg/cm according to my boost gauge, with hks induction kit, hks de cat super dragger and run on optimax. pumpers.

 

Yep just tested mine showing just over 0.9 on the gauge with full system exhaust second cat removed and Green induction kit

Gonna try to clean the solonoid to see if this helps
