Default Radiators : OEM or Aftermarket ??

I’m looking to replace the rad in my MY00. It’s looking fairly rotten, it’s some 8 yrs old now and is probably slowly getting blocked up etc etc.

So, I’m torn between an OEM or aftermarket rad……..

Whilst the thicker core aftermarket aluminium ones will offer greater cooling, they’re twice the price and they’re probably equally prone to blockages like any other rad. (My thoughts are that even though it’s alu, it’ll still need replacing as often as an OEM)

The question is, are the extra costs justifiable when buying a larger alu rad? Or should I just stick with OEMs and look to replace these on a more regular basis?

Your thoughts please Scoobynetters!

Cheers.

(p.s – car is running approx 320bhp and not driven overly hard)

I bought one from them recently, as mine started to leak and I have to say the service is perfect and item as well - anyway so far.
They sell KOYO radiators which have pretty good reputation from my quick investigation - anyway as a standard replacement.
