Default new screen creak

just had a replacement front screen fitted by a well known outfit today but it creaks all round.I rang them and they said it should stop in a few days when the glue goes off(because of the chilly temp),is this correct or is it not fitted properly.to their credit it looks like a first class job.

I thought you wern't supposed to drive the things for 24 hrs after.
It's to allow time for the glue to go off.
They also usually tape the windscreen "up" to stop it from sagging (gravity)

this noise should stop after a day or so, whats causing the noise is the screen rubbing against the trims and the clips that hold trims inplace sometimes this happens i had my screen done but i never got no noise (did it myself) these days with the bond we use it only takes an hr to dry enough to take the punishment of an airbag going off or the impact of an accident but to fully set about 3 to 4 days. if problem persists take it back

Not 24 hours, but they should make you wait at least 2 hours befor giving you the keys back. If you were to be involved in a accident immediately after it was fitted, the windscreen would be usless, which obviuolsy would'nt be cool as they make up 30% of your cars over all body strength.
