what is a knock link sensor??
hello there i bogutha subaru wrx a few weeks back and when i bought it the guy said it needs a new knock link sensor because when the car is cold it just cuts out at 4500 revs and then comes back, but when its warm its fine, he goes its a knock link sensor but i got no idea what that is?? any help much apprieciated. thanks

Do you mean Knock Sensor?
The knock sensor bolts to the block, and is basically a microphone which will pick up any irregular engine noises.
Read the stored fault codes on the ecu before you replace anything
