No benefit until you get into serious power. The OE air intake system is very good. Save your money and put it into suspension and chassis mods, maybe brakes too.

And before you ask, dump valves are the same story. No point !

K&N induction kits are good had one on mine from day 1! Gives a nice sound and helps you hear the chattering from the waste gate lol You won't notice a difference thou on power at most 1-2bhp but the sound wins! If your not bothered about the sound K&N do a panel filter which helps air flow

Sound on these is superb. With other mods to justify it (circa 400) it's a worthwhile product, but on a standard (or near) car it's just a spunkload of cash for a noise.

I'd still say get suspension and chassis products, but it's your car and wallet.

try APEXI induction systems as these are a dry filter and wont bugger ur MAF sensor. plus u still get the same great sound for around £120 with all the brackets, hoses ect

How can you tell if your MAF sensor is knackered or on its way out. Anyway of testing it.

If the MAF is going or you think it is, unplug the MAF cable when the engine is running. If the engine dies the MAF is OK. If the engine continues to run the there may be a problem with the MAF.

View my Scoob for my CAIK.

Beaware that heat in the engine bay will not be good for a CAIK. I have fitted an auxillary fan in the wing that blows cold air from the outside all the time.

Pretty useless now but it should be of benefit in the summer.

APS CAI for me all the way. Draws cold air from thge inner wing, although u will need the map altering as the MAF needs to be rescaled.
