FPR on a newage questions
I want to try an E85 map on my car, but the injectors are at 94% duty cycle and i've been told i'll need bigger ones. Don't have that sort of money at the minute after the T25 handling kit went on and other goodies last month.
I've been told an FPR could be the way to go. I know they increase the pressure.
Would it work for this application? How much are they and which ones are best to get?
Is there any reliability issues with these??

I see no reason why a FPR wouldn't allow you to up the pressure sufficiently to get the added flow you need to run E85. Obviously this would need to be mapped for.
Fuelab and SX FPR's seem well regarded, but I have heard of issues with the FSE one's being a bit random with their pressure occasionally (which obviously isn't a good thing on a turbocharged car).
I think the Fuelab ones come in at around £175 to £200 iirc.

Like Duncan says, costs are the same but its a damn sight easier fitting an FPR than adding injectors - but larger injectors allow further headroom if you want another power jump after that.
My SX decided to loosen up and increase pressure by 0.5 bar not long after a remap, which resulted in very poor running, so get a pressure gauge with the FPR.

A fuel pressure reg can be bought and fitted quite cheaply and drove to a mapping session with no problems, new injectors will be more costly and once fitted you will have to drive off boost till you get the car mapped. The reg is a good thing to have even if you decide you need bigger injectors in the future
