Default turbo timer

i have a 1999 classic and i bought a turbo timer and harness out of a 1994 classic and the harnes was diff and didnt fit my car then i did a bit of research and found that 1999 2000 classics have a dif harness did i read worng or is that correct cause it def didnt fit


any help would be good before i buy another wrong harness and timer lol

Dont bother, its a pointless item. Stick it on ebay or throw it in the bin.

It does nothing you cant do yourself.

ie drive it easy the last couple of miles, not rocket science TBH

as 172 says


shouldn't thrash your car then just park up even with timer......cools a lot better with the airflow of driving (off boost).


.....and with a turbo timer you won't let the car out of your sight untill your sure the engine has turned off anyway

good point still interested to know if there was a different harness for 1999 ownwards or was i just being silly lol

don't know about the harness's, but I'm sure if you identify what wire is what then you should be able to hard wire it in.

yes there is def different harness for 1999 uk turbo as i bought my second turbo timer out of a 1993 car went to fit it today wrong fitment i think its from 1997 onwards cheers jam

Go on, get it fitted! I bought one from egay and got a mate to install it. Gimmicky as hell, but I love it!
