sti v2 mixed cams?

is it possible to get the intake and exhaust cams mixed or are they the same. as after an engine rebuild car wont start and i have fuel and spark and timing marks are algined

yes the cams are different!

one has IN marked on them for inlet

and the other has EX for (you guessed it) exhaust.
