Faster 06 STI
Hi all scooby & forum newbie here I have a 2006 STI spec D prodrive it is currently producing 315 BHP (flywheel) & 320 lbft (wheels) but would like to make it faster can anyone give me some guidance?

Ecutek re-map, depends where you are, and if you are adding other mods.
A decent sports cat/ de-cat 3" exhaust would help with the above.

All depends on how much money you want to spend.
There is a big jump in costs once you reach above 400 hp as the pistons need to be beefed up as a minimum. At this level a new turbo is also involved and nothing appears to be better at the moment as an MD321T.
Below 400 hp either involves keeping the existing VF43 turbo and reaching about 360 hp/ 400 lbft with a remap and decat, moving up to something like a TD05/20g or an unstressed MD321T and getting a slightly higher but wider power band with a little more torque.
Since you've already made a jump with the PPP then a turbo change will make a more noticeable difference than just a further remap.
