Default 2006 STi USDM ECU

Damm Im moving from the states to england on military assighnment and bringing my car with me . I got a question I thought the US and UK, ECUs where diffrent . If this is so this could present a problem with tuning this car to your local fuel .

Another problem is that I run Cobb EM, I dont think thier is any tuners in England who run this ? I threw my Eutek out the door for it was garbage . Am I going to have to go back to a Eutek to get a tune or is thier somebody who is knowledgeable about Cobb EM ?

Thanks John

Well Uk fuel is upto 99 RON we have Shell selling V power and Tescos (it's a supermarket chain) selling 99 RON.

As for Cobb tuners i think you may be out of luck.
Is it like reflashing the standard ECU or a standalone ECU?

Fuel octane ratings RON, MON, AKI RdON and PON explanation and compared.

Its a custom reflash, I could buy the software and let somebody tune it, are most tuning programs pretty similiar ? Oh yeah thanks for the link

If it's a reflash that would probably make it easier.

I think you will have to speak to someone like Jollygreenmonster (www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk) or pm him as he maps most of the ecus we get over here so could give you the lowdown on if he or anyone else can do it.
