So its a version 4, the VF28 sounds like the standard turbo, so yes, standard
The car should be running 440cc injectors from the factory, and as its a version 4 the ecu isnt mappable, probably why it has a dastek ecu in there.

The turbo on a v4 sti should be a VF24, the VF28 is from a version 5 sti. The standard injectors are normally yellow, purple ones could be denso 550cc injectors from an RX7, as they will fit an Impreza with an adaptor kit.

Hi

Ive had a dastek on my 98 classic since june an its as sweet as a nut.
Only thing is if you change anything or add anything it'll need a remap and there arent too many dealers about.

I have just cheked the car is a v5 so the turbo is standard if I put yellow injectors in do you think it would be safe to take the dastek chip off and go back to standard ecu ?
