PPP on My08 Forester - question
The PPP on my last wagon and the STi before included a blue prodrive intercooler hose. Is this the case for the My08 PPP on the forester or is it not required ?
Thanks for any input
Cheers, Ian.

Thanks Mike.
On a different note - does the pullout of Subaru from WRC mean that they might pull the PP R&D for future scoobs ? I imagine a deisel PPP was planned for next year (StiD ?).
Cheers, Ian

Don't panic - I didn't hear it from anywhere, its just a question based on the fact that Subaru are obviously cutting back on any "extra" costs to improve PBT and concentrating on mainstream sales. i.e they would rather sell more hatchbacks to sales reps than £1600 ppps to WRC following (ex) speed freaks like us.
Yes there is PPP for the MY08 forester (same engine as the MY07) - I have the cert to prove it.

There will be no change to what we do with Subaru road, Customer WRC and Group N cars at all. We will still be working on upgrades and options for future models and I think that a high power diesel version of every model in the range would be a GOOD THING!

Mike,
Thank god for that. I've had 5 Imprezas and now the Forester over 14 years, all bar one with PPP. The only car I've had during that time that wasn't a Scoob was a deisel Skoda VRs and I must admit I loved the massive low down torque from as little as 1.5K revs with the added bonus of 40+mpg.
Now if you guys at Prodrive can coax 200+ Bhp and 350-370 Lb/ft out of a scooby deisel then I'd be the first to sign up for an oil burner StiD.
How about a deisel WRC for 2010/11 ? Seat did it in the BTCC.
