DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WRX AND STI TURBO
hi. do the classic shape wrx and sti's have the same td05 16g turbo. or are these different. my wrx is in the garage and the mechanic is going to take a look at the code of the turbo aswel as fixing the driveshaft. the previous owner told me it had an sti turbo. what code do the sto turbos have and the wrx's. cheers

Any one with the OEM pattern upipe and downpipe flanges i.e. not twin scroll ones. For example VF22,23,24,28,29,34,35 etc.
NOTE: You have a 94 WRX saloon and the std fit TD05 16G has a top entry snorkel, but the VFs are front entry i.e. have a conventional collar.
So you'd have to 'recreate' the snorkel by using 90deg Samco hose of apprpriate leg length and diameter. This would attach to the VF's collar by a jubilee clip, the other end attaching to the downturned rubber intake hose by way of an alloy sleeve joiner and two more jubilee clips. Piece of pee really.
