Intrigued to know WHY it is slow with 2 port vs 3 port - is this Link specific? I ask because I can get very fast spool up using the 2 port but my own controller - I think it feels as fast as a disconnected wastegate. If there is a theoretical/practical advantage to the 3 port it might be worth me changing my design that is all. Any comments welcome.

I'm clueless on it John, all I know is that with the link, spool up got loads better with the 3-port. No matter how you set the WG parameters with the 2-porter you could get it snappy.
Now I'm struggling with base duties and different loads...either it's kinda slow in the lower gears, and behaves in higher....or vice versa...I'm trying to perfect it...but it seems as if I'll have to do with a compromise.
