Just been under the front of the car and could someone tell me -what is the pipe directly behind the radiator with 2 x manifolds connceting to the underside of the engine- what is that section called?(hope you understand my description),if so mine is rusted through and i can feel cloth type stuff,whats the best type/make to go for,I've got a 2002 UK Sti.

 

Thats the crossover pipe, it has an outer heatshield, some wrap and the inner pipe, I don't know of any aftermarket replacement for that one part (and its probably not worthwhile) and from your description, its only the heatshield that has rusted through anyway!
