Do you let the car warm up before you drive off? And also what petrol are you using? If the previous owner used super unleaded, and after buying you just use normal, then that may be it. If not those, maybe the fuel pump might be on its way out. If the Prev Owner didnt fit one, I'd recommend you fit an uprated walboro one, they work wonders. Same happened with me

And welcome to SN

A few complete arrogant morons on here, but the majority are friendly and will help with anything at all

Yeah V power will do lovely,

Its not a hard job, took me a couple of hours with plenty of *** and tea breaks

Just take the old one out, get the new one (its considerably smaller than the stock item) fit the new one in its little house/shoe thing which comes in the box, this allows you to make it fit the original fitment, plug it in check it works, then if theres much space around the original hole then seal it up with something ample, and there you go, done

1996 car...

MY96 (Sep 95 - Aug 96)... 4 individual coilpacks (on each plug)
MY97 (Sep 96 - Aug 97)... single coilpack 'block' on inlet manifold + HT leads

Just check your IM - if there's no black 'square' coilpack on it, then you got the 4 individuals...
