If its a new age then its the smaller service plus a cam belt change. Mine on my old 52 plate bugeye WRX was £320 but it was over a year ago. Your servicing booklet should confirm.

No - My local dealer £300 included everything (although tensioner may need changing which mine didn't so kept the cost down)

Not all dealers charge the same, mine happens to be honest and was the same price as the 'specialist'. On a like for like it was definately worth it for the stamp.

50K main dealer service + cambelt as carried out on my 03 WRX last month.

Total £579, this included an MOT and a new Cambelt tensioner, so would have been more like £400 without those. This includes all parts.

With my SIDC membership discount, I ended up paying £529, all in.

No, just basic oils and cambelt £320 for mine at Christopher Neil's Subaru. All oils are changed at 60k service - that's a more expensive service because everything gets changed.

Correct - sorry when i said all the oils i meant all the oil for this service which is just engine oil i beleive. Gear/diff oil plugs etc are at 60k and that service was a lot cheaper at a specialist.

As you're from Essex, why on earth didn't you go to somewhere like Extreme Scoobies at Witham? Cambelt change on new age £190. All together with a service, using good oils and genuine Subaru parts,I would hazard a guess at around £300 ish! All warrenty friendly, too.

Just a personal preference of mine, nothing wrong with independents I just like to keep it all main dealer in the service book.

Like for like it would have cost me £400 less £40 SIDC discount. Which means I've paid an extra £60, for a main dealer service, I'm happy with that.
