Default HKS F CON ECU Questions for anyone knowledgable

when you fit one of these, do you want a completely standard ECU?

i have one with a chip that has raised boost to 1.1 bar and i had to cut the resistor j1 for it to work.

if i fit the above is it best to remove the chip and resolder resistor j1?

are there any good worthwhile mods to get to accomany this ecu, such as boost controller, or i understand you can replace the maf with one of these?

any other features it has that may be worthwhile?

And finally to get it remapped you have to get it done by a authorised HKS dealer. are there any in the south, and roughly how much is it likely to be for a remap

The F Con is either a piggy back ecu OR the V Pro is a standalone.

I personally wouldn't bother with the piggy back version but if you do, change the ecu back to standard.

HKS European Dealers a list of dealers i would speak to one of them.

if a car had the same mods, would it be transferrable between the two, or would it require a remap to the new ecu it would be working with?
