Default Where have you located your FPR?

Mine is getting fitted this week, and was just curious where everyone mounts theirs? I know Butty has his mounted on the RHS of the engine bay. Where do you have yours?

Also just to confirm, its 3 Bar with the vac pipe off, and 2.6Bar with the vac pipe connected?

Thanks

I fitted mine next to the aircon pump,(see profile pic) but only as i carried out the parallel rail mod, so ditched all the standard pipe work.
For ease, near the standard position would be best if not messing with the fuel lines.

Mines tucked in the passenger corner of the engine bay beneath the point where the fuel return heads back to the tank. Sorry no decent camera !

For the couple I've seen, they do always seem to be on the passenger side. But I'd have thought it would be easier on the drivers side, near(ish) the OM FPR.

Cheers

I have it bolted to the strut tower nearside return pipe curves straight down, and the feed from rear T-piece runs across the rear bulkhead. Std. fuel supply is passed through a filter ( washer bottle removed ) then feeds the front T-piece.

P.S. I need to get a digital camera soon !

hehe. If I'm honest I'm not too sure what you mean there!! I'm not fitting it myself, but didn't know if I should tell the guy which side to put it.

Oh. and pressure......

Definitely 3 bar with vac hose off, and 2.6 bar with it on?

There's a metal bracket bolted to the inner surface of the strut mounting, by "adjusting" it I could bolt mine just above the chassis rail right in the corner.

Hard to describe, Santa needs to bring me a bl**dy digital camera....

P.S. Anyone we know ?

They can range anywhere from £30 (Ebay) to £180 (major specialists). The hoses and fittings can add another 30% onto the cost.
