Default help needed

I had my car on the dyno at AET last week and it only made 165 at the wheels i think it should be around 210 which is about 260 at the crank . It's a 2002 wrx with ppp and a k&n panel filter, i serviced it the weekend before after the abuse it got on the recent dales run . Has anybody got any idea why i would be down so much power, i haven't noticed a drop in power since i bought it and the cel light hasn't come on at all. I've got the certificates to prove that it has ppp fitted, it's done 71K and i run it on vpower. Is there anyway of checking if the map is ppp using romraider or similar.

Thanks for your help in advance

Dave

I dropped from 360bhp down to 340 with a bad batch of V-power, a month later with nothing but a couple of tanks through the system the car was back up to 360 on a RR shootout.

Would a dodgy batch cause me to lose so much? i do a tank a week so hopefully that should sort it.

Looks like a boost/afr issue. Might have been detting up there and causing it to overfuel as per std OE ecu procedures.

Easiest option would be some octane booster to help in the meantime til you get it mapped.

He has a certificate, but we wondered whether the previous owner had sold it and fitted a std ecu....

Coops do you fancy a TSL catted system ? MINE !
I have found a 3" system, but need rid of mine, for a sensible price of course !
