Can be as cheap as a few brass T-pieces and some hose and clips, or you can swap rails and fit Goodridge hose and anodised jewellery with an uprated fuel pressure regulator. Depends on mods and budget.

imho

as long as it works well, the cheap option is good for me

can you cut your standard rails down to allow the hose to be put on?

i'd also like to know how to reuse the original rails for an uprated fuel system?

and in the few threads i've read there seems to be mixed opinions on whether to feed the rails from the front or from the rear.

what is the best

I did the cheap option in my thread here. https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...rted-last.html

Worked fine today when i got it mapped with Bob Rawle today.

this is alist of parts i ordered from demon tweeks,
FSEIH001 8MM HIGH PRESSURE HOSE 5 METRES @ £3.55 PER METRE

FSEMTP002 METAL T-PIECE 5/16 BARBED ENDS 2 @ £3.40 EACH

LMA328 13MM PETROL PIPE CLIPS 12 @ 40P EACH

also fitted an aeromotive fpr, so you need an end of rail adaptor to go in place of the oe fpr.

API converted my rails to -8AN, and I fed from the front, only because the fuel filter I fitted is where my washer bottle used to be !

LOL good to see the cheapskates are finally ruling the roost at SN! Yet another vote here for DIY. I did mine using a plumbers pipe cutter to cut down the hard pipes, doubled up good quality hose clips, some brass tee pieces and a load of 8mm injection hose. Along with a fuel rail adapter to swap out the factory regulator in the end of the offside rail, so I could run a SARD adjustable regulator, the job's a good 'un. No leaks.

LOL I reckon mine was less than that. About £20 down the local motor factors.

so would i be right in saying to make parrallel fuel rails all you do is split the single feed pipe into 2 pipes via a "T" or "Y" piece to feed both rails (front or rear which ever preffered) then the two pipes exiting the rails join into one via another "T" or "Y" piece then that returns to the petrol tank??

or have i missed something out?? oh where do you fit the regulator??

I think you got it adzer
I fed the rears, so from the fuel filter to their "t", and then return from the front "t" to the fpr, then back to tank.

Mine follow the same route; filter to tee, tee to rear ends of both rails (the offside one with the OE regulator removed and changed for a hose tail adapter), both front rail ends go to another tee, which then goes up to my SARD regulator (mounted on the n/s of the inlet manifold between the runners), then out of the new reg and back to the tank return pipe.

i hear some ppl prefer to fed from rear and some from the front.

has anyone fed the rail nearest the turbo from the rear and the passenger side rail from the front??

just a random question

This may be of some interest.

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-guys-run.html

Unless you are going for big power it is not required IMHO.

That's basically a 'reverse flow' system which some people have done.
