Default Identify this 2L block..?

SUBARU EJ20 IMPREZA STI GRB Version 10 Engine Block on eBay, also Turbo Parts, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats (end time 19-Dec-08 21:54:52 GMT)

Obviously it's a SCD, but has much thicker cylinder walls..

Surely a 2.0L CDB would be a better option, as don't forget it has under bore squirters to its advantage.

Although yes the GRB block is a very good block.

My 2p's Worth that's all....

Have never heard of the thicker liner thing though.....but i will assume that this will be the case in all 2.0l SCD engines.

Well when I got my CDB (one of two I had), the fella also had a SCB. He used that to build his race engine, not the CDB.

Guess it helps having a newer block but hot diggety damn, that's one hell of a lot of money to pay for an SCB!

I'm assuming it was a 2.0L and not a EJ257? That this guy used for his race car?

Lol, I'm not thinking of buying, was just curious as I'd never heard of a GRB..?

However, I would like a cheap block (SCD 2.5) to have a play with rebuilding it..

From the photos in the link,it's a EJ207 semi closed deck block (rear thrust crank).
