What part of essex ?

I work for a recovery firm and may know someone who's willing to do it as a private job Pm me details.

As a guide you would be looking at around £55-75 call out charge + £1.50 per mile return, for the distance travelled. IF YOU WENT THROUGH THE BOOKS

No it's not.
You are only allowed to take it to the nearest MOT station without an MOT.
Most sensible coppers will allow a little interpretation there. for example, I take my cars to an MOT garage near where I work which is about 20 miles from home. I've never been pulled but would doubt I'd have a problem.
Essex to Oxfordshire is a different matter.

Of course I couldn't possible suggest borowing the number plates and tax disc from a similar car as a way of swapping the vehicles identity could I?

John
