How do you clean the boost solenoid. classic car

how do you clean the boost solenoid, and where exactly is it?
what is the best thing to use to clean it with?
might try cleaning the maf also, but know you have to be really careful with these as one on a fiat bravo got ruined just by lightly touching it. what would you clean the maf with?

I cleaned mine yester day,
if you connect the two green wires underneath the drivers side dash and turn the ignition on it will actually make the solenoid click, then i just squirted brake cleaner/carb cleaner down all the ports. Then turn ignition off and disconnect the green connector under the dash. That should do it. You can also use brake cleaner or carb cleaner for the maf. Cheers
