Defi Link Meter Oil Temperature Sender Fitment
Good evening, all.
I've just taken delivery of some Defi Link Meter gauges (the originals!) and wanted some info about fitting the oil temperature sender that I cannot find elsewhere on the site:
In the Defi booklet it says to fit it into a sandwich plate on the sump but I want to fit on top of cylinder number 3. Will the sender fit straight in or do I need an adaptor?

It's easiest with an adapter and you can retain the original sensors. They're not expensive (<£30), just remember to wrap a couple of turns of teflon plumbing tape around the threads before fitting.

For oil temp you will need an adaptor (about £8 ) and the sender screws into the adaptor and the adaptor replaces the blanking plug under the intercooler above no3 cylinder.Remember to wrap the threads with ptfe before securing in place and all is good
Very simple job
