Default Turbo Cooler

Just seen this on a recent thread

My mate has one on his import wrx phase 1 classic.

What are the advantages? Worthing fitting to my P1?

Also, my mates Classic, weird one this....

Has sti Top half lights and Uk spec rears

ie, the complete top half is the brake lights (which all light up), and the bottom half is the same as uk spec lights, orange indicators.

Sti and wrx bonded together perhaps, or something abit more special?

Will get pictures if needed

that turbo chimney is a standard part on all classics mate, it lines up perfectly with a certain part of the bonnet scoop.

Yeah ive seen the small slots on the LHE on the Scoop, but i havent got a chimney, and tbh, ive not seen that many classics that have? Is it a part that many people get rid of?

Should i seek this part and get one fit, to aid cooling as is its purpose.

the main reason most classics dont have them that should is because they have had an uppipe fitted etc and the heat shield cant be mounted back on properly,so its easier to leave off

Nothing special I'm afraid, just (non sti) standard JDM tail lights.

AFAIK only early classics have them. Facelift onwards don't.
