Default Transmition oil

Ok im new here i have a Subaru Impreza p1 2001 model. Had it for about 3 years and now ive got a check engine light oming on in the dash it comes and goes. I took it to subaru and they checked it out and said its mabey to do with not running in on V-Power alone. But i gave my engine and transmition oil a quick check and the tranny oil is low how would i go about filling it up.

Hiya,

You have to fill the gearbox through the dipstick tube I'm afraid, It's a bit fiddly but the only way to do it.

2 min job to fill transmission oil? JUst did this again tonight for the third time. Takes a lot longer than that as if you get too excited then it just gets airlocked and spews out the filler pipe. Take your time and trickle it in slowly.
