Default Exhaust system fitting

Alright guys, Ive got unequal headers, downpipe and centre section too be fitted too my 2001 uk300, I havent really gotta clue how much i should be paying too get them all fitted and obviously dont wanna be ripped off and so ive got some kind of ball park figure.

as above why pay for something you can easily do yourself and will let you have a look around the underneath whilst your at it.all the little leaks that might just be starting in a worst case scenario.

Any guides or is it piece of pee? ive seen for the downpipe you need to take intercooler and turbo heatsheild off and cut it?

to be honest a good size can of wd40 to loosen the existing bolts and off you go.yes you do have to remove the intercooler not hard at all to do.but never heard of having to cut the shield.it really is easy enough to do and what you would pay would be better in your tank i bet.

A good quality socket and spanner is a must (not sure on size off top of my head). Halfords ones are pretty good.
Cheap tools usually = knackered bolts/nuts

Soak as many of the bolts as you can I usually leave it to soak in over night. I use plusgas rather than WD40 I find it works better.
Plenty of plasters for all the scraped knuckles too

ashley now i have seen how close you are (youve updated your profile)if you need any help and fancy a run down to lincoln i would help you out.only thing is it would need to cool down first haha

Would be a fair ol cool down aswell lol and yeah its about time i actually bothered updated it abit never really bothered before lol.

Cheers for the advice guys, ill keep you posted on how it goes. I plan on spraying the bolts friday night and letting them soak like you said, hopefully less four letter words will be flying.
