Are the ebay alloy radiators any good?
Hi there,
I know that a Koyo will likely be better, but has someone experience with the cheap alloy radiators at ebay? I only need a replacement for the stock radiator of my 99 turbo and the OEM part is quite expensive.
I also tend to a full metal radiator because I expect it to be more durable than the OEM part with the plastic tanks.
Regards,
Alex

Most of the Ebay alloy ones have fitting issues, however the Ebay OE replacement ones with the plastic end caps work perfectly well, mine does anyway.
True but still not that hard to fit. We had to enlarge the bottom position hole because the larger end tank was slightly resting on the chassis. Also the pipes needed flat clamps rather than the round clamps as the samcos I fitted were pretty thick to fit both in at front top left. Nothing major and the car runs a lot cooler, 80 tops.
i bought an oe replacement on ebay for about £65 delivered, good item,no fitting probs whatsoever and has been on car for nearly a year with no issues and still looks like new.even if it went in 6 months time i would still feel i got my moneys worth, but i cant see that happening at all,it was a bargain mate, cant go wrong.just make sure you buy the correct rad.
