Default How to fit a newage ecu.

Ok, even though I thought I'd seen posts on this before, I've had a good search and am still trying to find out how you swap over an ECU.

I have a new ECU for my bugeye turning up, but how do I replace my current one? If anyone has a guide/can post pictures that would be great.

Its under the pasenger side carpet. Remove the carpet then the 6 or 8 screws(cant remember how many) that hold the plate on that sits over the ecu. Then unbolt and unplug ecu and remove/ opposite to fit. You may well have to get the keys/ecu re-coded to work with each other though

Best to drive it to a garage to get the keys/immobiliser reset after you swap the ecu there. If you do it at home, you will not be able to drive the car til they are reset.

JGM (or any ecutek dealer) can do this for you.
