im just wondering if anyone could help. my management light came on so i got it put on the machine and the diagnostic said there was a missfire on cylinder 2 so i got the plugs changed. the light came back on with the same diagnostic result cylinder 2 missfire so i got the injector swaped over to rule that out and it still came back with the same problem on cylinder 2. i then got a new coil pack put on got the engine light knocked off and within 2 days the light has come back on. the car is a wrx sti type uk 02 but it has been remaped. any suggestions thanks latchy

 

I'd take it to see your mapper and get them to check what is causing the midfire. It might be that the misfire isnt just in cylinder 2 as the CEL codes arent always right.
