ah ok, sorry bud
i would have thought 310-320bhp would be a good estimate for the spec youve got (maybe a little more depending on what boost youre running)
the standard injectors will take 330ish (or up to 350 with an adjustable fpr) but upgrading to 550s will allow around the 400bhp mark
a wrx block is good for about 350bhp before it would be worth uprating the pistons but iirc the stis have forged internals from the factory so if thats the case then you would probaly benefit from a TD05 20G. with all this in place you would need to replace the ecu as the earlier models cant be remapped (and dont forget the clutch/gearbox)
what sort of power are you aiming for?

1. Your engine spec is a little vague, i.e. forged internals ?
2. Yes a bigger turbo is needed to reach 400 bhp, it would help to identify yours exactly.
3. bigger injectors, up-graded fuel pump, ecu replacement/re-map depends on model fitted.
4. Gearbox and clutch will be pushed way beyond their safe limits unless you are really kind to the car.

HTH

P.S. Silly option is a 100 bhp shot of nitrous.....

the road to 400 is a very hard and expensive im not talking 5 grand you need to look at transmission cost which can cost anything from 2500-4500 fitted alone.theres ppg or sti 6 speeds.

my advice to you get the car remapped with stage 1 and see how that goes for now 330 is fun road car trust me it would be pointless goin front mount for now, stick with the top mount for now. if your after street cred then go for a front mount but make sure you gt some one repitble to fit it and im not talking about a mate.

i hope that can be a bit of help

Chris, are you sure your STi has forged internals?! .

I read somewhere (I think it was from Brian Long's 'Impreza' book) that forged internals for the Classic STi were actually an option from new, so not every one is necessarily going to have them. Even then, I think it was only the pistons, and not the rods, that were offered as a forged option.

I may be wrong but I'm sure I read it from a reputable source. One person who'll invariably know, will be APIDavid...
