Default JGM VS SCOOBY CLINIC

I know this as been coverd, BUT not in the same way shape or form.

I need a remap very soon due to modes i will be fitting, new turbo.

All i need to know is who will give me the best map, i have read good about both but not used any. Does or as anybody used both, or if you know of any others please state.
I will travel 300 mile from sheffield round trip ( 1 full tank) for the right map, what i dont want as i have red, via the search thingi is it to be maped and the maper think that will do.
I need it to be maped by a maper who take pride in what he does.

Please can you give your views,

Cheers sn people

No it's got to be who is best, i will see what happens on this thread and who ever gets the most votes, wins.
JGM vote 1

I under stand JGM is mobile, what sort of roads are used for the mapping.

Pat herborn does the mapping for scoobyclinic, api and alot of others. JGM seems to be getting a good rep, but pats mapped hundreds of cars of all sort, Pat for me no questions asked

You could and should equally add Paul at Zen, Andy Forrest in there - they will all do a fantastic job.

Just get it done, talk to your mapper and ask them to map it to how you want to drive it and for what purpose. Ask their advice on mods and trust them. It is this trust that is the most important bit in my opinion. You will find that you spend (and waste) less money if you listen and trust them.

slow boy racing give him a call and see for yourself i can assure you that you will recieve a great lesson on whats going on with your car and he will give you a break down of everything his doin while mapping your car and great advice he just got me 419.5bhp from 20G turbo on 2ltr using 10%.ive been dealing with him for over a year now and i cant fault any of his work. he treats every car like his own and he takes a lot of pride in what he does.

Cheers, as JGM and Bob as had the most hits i will be going with 1 of these.
It's just about money now. How much will it cost from 1 of these 2 mappers.

Think i red some where JGM charges £400 plus fuel.

When I bought my car it had already been mapped by Scooby Clinic, shortly after I gave the car to Martyn J.

All I can say is the difference was massive, it had more power and torque in the middle of the rev range as well as more up top! The car physically felt quicker.

So you guessed it my vote goes to Martyn J

drop them a phone call explaining what you want doing, spec etc and ask their opinions. you can normally tell by a phone call how interested they are in doing your car and their knowledge.
i did this and 1 of the people mentioned on here didnt return a few phone calls as promised. lost business straight away.

i've used JollyGreenMonster 3 times now and he is never to busy to give advice when ive spoke to him.
Not saying the others arent good but I always go back to exceptional service and thats Simon (JGM)

Sorry Dazza, just noticed the round trip bit. You are of course quite correct we are a fair few miles more than that, but mapped cars from further afield than Sheffield before.
