Default what boost pressure

4 weeks ago i managed to melt 2 pistons in my jap sti7, it was running a steady 1.5 bar of boost,
the engine now has forged pistons, race bearings and an uprated oil pump, will it be safe enough to still run the 1.5 bar (once run in) or would it be safer to reduce the boost slightly??
cheers

Is it mapped to run 1.5bar, or are you running a MBC?

it's got a genome adjustable boost controller, i got the car imported from japan, i have no history with it, so not sure if its remapped. its a rare sti prodrive style model (early spec c) with 325bhp as standard.
i'm just worried incase i melt some pistons again
