Default TD05 20G produced 419.5bhp MASSIVE thanks to slowboy racing

JUST WANT TO SAY A MASSIVE THANKS TO NEIL AT SLOWBOY RACING FOR ALL THE HARD WORK HE PUT IN TO MY CAR;
MAPPING and explaining everything in great detail during the session
LABOUR for his great and tidy work
AND constant great friendly
ADVICE COULDNT RATE HIM ENOUGH

im chuffed i went to the slowboy rolling road event today and my car made 419.5bhp holding 1.5 on the surrey DD rollers. the guys that worked there said it was absaloutly bang on in terms of fueling, boost and also said it was brilliant mapping and a great figure, so as you all can imagine im over the moon.

there was another guy who had his car mapped by a diffrent mapper with full supporting mods and it suprised me to see that he was only making 370 in a newage sti which is supposed to have better heads than my ver4 type r.

what kind of figures is everyone seen from there 20Gs graphs would be appriciated?????????

i will be posting my graphs as soon as i have access to a scanner

I haven’t seen the close up on this graph yet. Car was mapped on the road iirc @ 1.6 bar, 10% Meth and a road AFR at around 11.3, with a Dyno mapping session i am sure we can extract more figures but for now the car drives great on the road

That was me - i was a little disappointed 1.4 bar dropping off to 1.25 too early- i'm still running a hyperflow topmount though and a sportscat DP with RCM headers and uppipe

possibly a weak actuator?

possibly that a had changed the centre cat and resonator for a straight through on the tuesday without a remap yet- so less back pressure??

possibly the eboost2 boost controller ??

Your car's power delivery looked perfect to me -absolutely spot on power delivery - a well deserved pat on the back to the slowboy guys and your car

It was nice to meet you all and the slowboy guys

great figures Mus

i managed 405bhp / 375lbs torque, Mapped by Andy
Newage STI 8, AFP TD 05 20G, Zen headers & uppipe, 3" decat, FPR, Apexi boost controler, Kept the STI topmount for early boost.
that was 10%meths & some NF

In comparison it now runs 380bhp / 365lbs with Vpower only, as too much hassle with meths.

Are you using NF too or just meths?

Here's a standard 2.5 engine with TMIC running on V power:
Name: ZenRR_191008-1.jpg

Mapped to 1.5 bar tailing down to 1.25 bar. Lots of low down torque but no sign of power dying off.

your best option is to speak to harvey about using some NF booster.

cheers banny and r4lly

thanks guys

going to enjoy the car now and then maybe brake it up or sell it. and look for a new project once this credit crunch is up.
